Work Rules

  1. Workers who perform fraudulent or sloppy work, as defined under Job Specifications, will be suspended without pay for the remainder of the workday or for up to three days in the sole judgment of the supervisor, depending on the degree of infraction, the worker’s prior record and other relevant factors. Discharge of the worker may result from any subsequent offense. Workers must perform their assigned work in a careful, workmanlike manner in accordance with the provisions of the work contract.

  2. Use or possession of alcohol or illegal drugs

  3. Excessive absences

  4. Drop paper, cans, bottles and other trash in fields

  5. Unauthorized breaks

  6. Leaving the field without permission

  7. Enter employer’s premises without authorization

  8. Begin work prior to scheduled start time or continue working after stop time without authorization

  9. Restrict production

  10. IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE - verbally or physically threaten worker, farmer or any supervisor with any tool or weapon

  11. Fighting

  12. Remove notices, signs, or other instructions from bulletin board without authorization

  13. Stealing

  14. IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE - falsifying identification, personnel, medical, production-related records

  15. IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE - willfull abuse or destruction of any machinery, truck or other vehicle

  16. Operating trucks or other vehicles without authorization

  17. IMMEDIATE DISCHARGE - misuse or remove property without authorization

  18. Unsafe work behavior

  19. Supervisors instructions

  20. Failure to regard authority

  21. Out of compliance with any local, state or federal law

  22. No firearms or other weapons

  23. Horse play, scuffling, throwing things during work hours

  24. Cell phones

  25. Perform duties in a timely manner

  26. Possess requisite physical strength and endurance

  27. Sustained, vigorous pace

  28. Charged for reasonable costs

  29. Perform any list of duties

  30. Move quickly along the rows

  31. Personal entertainment devices
